The Vision Defined
A group of dairy cattle reproduction experts including academicians, veterinarians, dairy producers and allied industries—semen, pharmaceutical and nutrition companies—organized the first DCRC meeting in 2005 with a vision that:

• DCRC will be a noncommercial, science-based organization whose main goal is to promote the development and adoption of reproductive technologies.
• DCRC will be open to all sectors in the dairy industry with an interest in dairy cattle reproduction. It will be an inclusive organization with the responsibility to reach out to several sectors of the dairy industry.
• DCRC will aim to become the primary source of information and technology regarding reproductive management and will become a conduit of information relative to integrated management considerations.
• DCRC will adopt a common terminology, and identify key parameters and minimum goals for evaluation of reproductive performance, and provide educational material for reference.
• DCRC will identify critical areas for technology development and transfer.
• DCRC will organize and promote national and/or regional meetings to disseminate information.

DCRC welcomes all who wish to contribute to the organization and urges individuals to assume leadership responsibilities. Please join us in creating an organization with truly unlimited potential.
