    Why did you decide not to use activity data before 21 DIM to determine estrus events before VWP?

    Hi Tony,

    Thanks for your question. We did not use the activity data before 21 DIM because we were having many false positives since cows were being moved from fresh pen to high producing pen from 16 to 21 DIM. To avoid misclassifying cows we decided to not include those heats.
